The series titled NO ON PROP 8 was made in response to the anti-gay marriage proposition passed in California. My use of a pitchfork symbol began w/ my first tryptic in the series entitled American Marriage, it is inspired by Grant Wood’s American Gothic. The pichfork or trident shape is also the symbol for psychology.
